Dear colleagues,
The well-orchestrated movement of cells is necessary for the development of multicellular organisms as well as for the homeostasis of normal tissues. Aberrant cell motility, on the other hand, is a key feature of many pathological processes, most importantly for tissue invasion and metastasis of cancer. The SFB 850 set out in 2010 to link basic research on cell motility in embryonic development with tumor biology and their translation into clinical cancer research. In the forthcoming international symposium “Control of Cell Motility in Development and Cancer” we would like to facilitate discussion among attendees and world-renowned experts about the state-of-the art in the field. On behalf of the organization committee, I cordially invite you to participate in our symposium. There is no registration fee, however, please register below.
Sincerely yours,
Christoph Peters (Coordinator SFB 850)
